I am a UK APH club approved breeder of African Pygmy Hedgehogs based in Northamptonshire (M1 J16).
What are African Pygmy Hedgehogs?
African Pygmy Hedgehogs are a hybrid of the White-bellied or Four-toed Hedgehog and the Algerian Hedgehog. They are smaller than the European Hedgehog, and so are referred to as the African Pygmy Hedgehog.
They are highly domesticated and make excellent pets, they prefer a warm climate and do not naturally hibernate.
